Tory Burch is the Ur-Social. While Michael Kors may channel the WASPY socialite energy in his collections, Tory actually lives the life. And that sweet, charming, ever graceful aesthetic she projects in her collection allows millions of women to buy into the dream. Normally selling an aspirational lifestyle makes us uncomfortable but with Tory it just makes us smile. We like what she is selling. We can't really figure out why honestly. It must be all that yellow and orange. We just can't say no to bright accessories.
