Gracing Net-a-Porter's splash page today is this Fendi Circle Pattern Dress. The editorial is called 'Print Preview', get it? Like, before you print something out (what? paper?) you, you know, preview it. That goes with Fendi and other stuff, see what they mean? Yeah, it's one of those references that flies under the radar but doesn't really make sense when you stop and think about it. Or you could just take it literally and drop the cultural signifiers. Anyway, the editorial is pretty sharp and will surely help quite a few fashionistas drop twenty-four-eighty on a summer frock. The printed chiffon dress has front, back, and side circular prints and we can hardly wait for someone to knock it off as those deliberately placed circles could easily become suggestive targets when mass-produced for 49.99. Cruise season has officially begun! Fendi, Escada and Elie Tahari showed off a few of their designs to Women's Wear Daily. Karl Lagerfeld went straight to the 70s for inspiration but thankfully kept things clean at Fendi. Escada was a little more scattered but played it safe with color. Tahari went with florals.

Chanel is taking over Miami with its preparations to show their Cruise collection on Thursday. Chanel is launching a widget the day after the show. It will allow Chanel fans to view clips from the show as well as interviews. Taking the bloggers right out of the equation.

Burberry will open a boutique in Cannes just in time for the film festival.

Bottega Veneta is releasing an eyewear line.

There is only so much interest you can add to a shoe before the design feels overburdened. The knot is a classic and versatile accoutrement much beloved by shoe designers of all stripes. Community member the Budget Babe is working to find alternatives to Diane Von Furstenberg's Love Knot Sandal (we say at $240 just go for it) but once we saw the knotted designers we were off on a shopping spree. Fendi's Runway Metallic Cage heel has subtle knot detailing on an otherwise unsubtle heel and the Dior Samourai Japanese Knot Platform Sandal has enough detailed knots to make any sailor proud.
