Mexican designer Denise Marchebout's range of colorful swimwear for Spring 09 is the kind of optimistic look we're loving this season. A standby at Mexico Fashion Week and co-owner of a well-known boutique in Mexico City, called Clinica, Marchebout is poised for big things. At the moment, you can pick up her designs online at New High (M)art. Check out some of her Spring 09 range in the gallery below.

Remember all of that lovely graphic beachwear from the Michael Kors Spring 2009 runway show? Well, it's poised to hit shelves very soon now. Our favorites are a high waisted two piece with a navy and white zig zag print (about $270). It looks fabulous on the hanger (and runway) even though we're a little skeptical of this silhouette in bathing suit form. Also stand-out are a pair of 100% silk harem pants that are meant for coverup but would be just fine with heels and a casual blouse. They come in yellow, red, navy, and white and will retail for about $350. Check out a few of our snapshots from the showroom below.
Yesterday we brought you a preview of the DKNY Spring 2010 swimwear collection and today, a swim collection by the beloved Marc Jacobs. As was expected the collection was young, brightly colored, and in flirty/quirky cuts that will intimidate some and tempt others. Particularly striking was one white bathing suit with ruffles at the bodice and a geometric romper that could easily be worn by the patio in the evening. Check out our exclusive photos of the collection below.
Today we took a peek at the Cruise 2009 and Spring 2010 swimwear lines from some of our favorite designers at the Swimwear Anywhere press preview. One of our favorites was the DKNY Spring 2010 swim collection. Donna Karan stuck with a neon and nude palette, similar to that which we saw in her 20th anniversary Spring 2009 ready to wear collection. The one-pieces were offered in sophisticated cuts but with vibrant neon color blocking. Check out our favorites from the collection below!
Much to our delight we've discovered that one of our favorite lingerie brands, The Lake And Stars, is offering a swim collection this season. Quite appropriately, the range is edited down to just a few styles and you'd better believe they can stand their own ground. Our favorite is the low-cut one-piece with a removable belt. It's sexy, it's classic, and we're pretty sure we'd be tempted to wear it as a bodysuit. Check out the rest of the Lake & Stars Swim 09 collection right here.
