Online Magazine MykroMag Pushes Things Forward

Online magazine MykroMag caught our eye recently--it popped up on Jak & Jil blog and Topshop's blog earlier this week and a while back on Style Bubble. The online-only, black and white mag contains interviews with industry figures along with fashion illustration and photo editorial as well. In the editor's letter, Sonny Groo (aka Abdul Lagerfeld), wrote that MykroMag was "eye catching without screaming for attention"--which is an apt description for the first issue. Barbara Hulanicki Of Biba Fame To Launch Topshop Collab Next Week

If you haven't already caught wind, Biba founder Barbara Hulanicki is poised to launch a capsule collection with Topshop next week. The range will debut in the New York and London stores as well as online this April 28th. Our Network Partner, Style Bubble, wrote on her visit to the showroom to see the collection as did our sister site, Fabsugar UK. The strong shoulders, wild leopard-like prints and whimsical dresses are perfectly curated in this collection. The most expensive piece, the suede jacket shown at left, will retail for around $200. If suede is what you're after, Topshop has been doing a lot of that this season, most notably by way of suede leggings which go for around $510. Regardless, we're sure all of the Barbara Hulanicki pieces will fly off the shelves.

Stemming from their bright, beautiful, on-trend Spring 2009 collection the duo received loads of fashion praise including a shoutout on Style Bubble and an interview with Dazed (not penned by Ms. Bubble).
