The proliferation of this bright pink shade has almost lifted us out of an all-black wardrobe rut, and just in time for spring. It sort of just makes you happy to look at. Click through the gallery to check out the five fuschia pieces we’d actually wear and why.

We've been running around this city, freezing our little mitts off, while our Network is busy at work--Today SheFinds reviewed Planet Botanicals Body Balm which sounds to us like a winter-skin dream come true. Trust Your Style admits her obsession with pin cushion fruits and veggies which is just about the sweetest, and most non-controversial obsession we've ever heard of. Meanwhile, The Beauty Of Life was up to to some mid-week funny business, finding different uses for MAC makeup remover wipes and Shoe Smitten gushed over a pair of cherry red Marc Jacobs cut out heels.
The blogosphere didn't take the day off for Columbus Day (and neither did we) which means there are plenty of interesting posts worth reading before you go order your chicken wings and ogle Eli Manning (oh wait that's us) on Monday Night Football.
Lace and other feminine frippery was on the minds of more than just us. I Am Fashion has a new guest blogger (welcome!) who explores her new found obsession with lingerie.
The Coveted introduces us to Swedish designer Lamilla

And because we have to include just a few general interesting posts andSheFinds asks what went wrong with Sigerson Morrison for Target and The Beauty of Life has a Yes to, well, lots of varieties of Produce, giveaway
If you've been following us on Twitter you know we have had a bit of an off day, thankfully we can always rely on the common sense, good cheer and ingenuity of our fantastic community to keep us feeling alright.
Trend De La Creme made us burst out laughing with her comparison of Pierre Cardin's SS09 collection with The Fruit Guys.
The Smart Stylist has a round up of Paris' headdresses.
Fashionniche is agonizing over the Chanel 2.55. Honey, you are not alone!
Girl-Woman-Beauty Brains and The Budget Fashionista both have guides to shopping in a recession that we highly suggest checking out. After all curbing your spending too much is actaully bad for the economy as consumer spending accounts for 2/3rds of our economy!
We saw quite a few sock and open toed shoe combinations in Paris and Milan (Prada anyone?) and we are just as perplexed by them as SheFinds
We are feeling a bit burned out on Milan so our community must reads are taking a turn for the bizarre with a few beauty treatments that are boggling our mind and of course a few traditionally good posts about things like designers and bags and such.
Clothes Pin has a write up on Elroy apparel that is a source of very fine eye candy.
Vie Couture has done the impossible and found a Coach bag that we find appealing.

We entirely support Bag Bliss's love of Pringle's Kasia tote bag. We have Pringle on the mind what with their new collaboration with Sigerson Morrison and all. Shoewawa also has the scoop on that collaboration.

Temptalia has Chanel's Holiday 2008 collection with lots of images and product descriptions for those obsessed with all things double C.
SheFinds solves the dreaded pairing black and brown collection. We say hey didn't we already do that at Lord and Taylor this week? Ohh wait, that was for guys!
Little Molly Cakes asks how do we feel about sequined shorts. She feels good. We feel bad.

As much as we love summer, the season comes with one of our greatest physical embarrassments, otherwise known as the sweaty upper lip. Try as we might to be leisurely, avoiding working up a sweat as you amble from home to work to play is nearly impossible some days. Despite our best efforts we still find a thin sheen works itself up more often than is comfortable congealing with our makeup to form a kind of gritty urban beauty nightmare. Clearly we aren't the only one in our community worried about these issues as
Ma Petite Chou has been
fielding questions about water proof eyeliner,
SheFinds is focused on
waterproof foundation and other stay cool and dry techniques,
Makeup and Beauty Blog's face of the day includes
Chanel's waterproof Oasis eyeshadow quad, and
Sugarshock is fixating on
Cargo's Melt Proof collection. Naturally beauty marketers are aware that summer makeup is a near obsession for women and provide us with ample opportunities to lay down cash for products that may or may not work. Our take? Sure we love a lot of the products featured but some days we simply want to give up and go totally bare.

We have always admired women that effortlessly combine prints. We can barely even stomach wearing one print let along pull off the styling miracle that strong print combinations require. But we were impressed by how easy
SheFind's Guide to Wearing Multiple Prints was to follow. She has a few fantastic combinations we feel like we could pull off. We particularly liked her advice to choose similar prints in different sizes.
We combined a
Dolce and Gabana Polka Dot Mini Skirt,
C&C Dotted Jersey Tank, and
Sonia by Sonia Rykiel Studded Cardigan. We threw in a
Kate Spade 'Marceau - Malva' Soft Hobo that just happens to have a polka dot lining for fun and topped (bottomed?) it off with
Marc Jacobs Collection Brushed Patent d'Orsay Pumps. Overall we think it looks pretty darn good. We guess combining prints isn't so hard after all!
