Last week marked the official start of window display season in New York when the tree at Rockefeller Center went aglow. Then came Cartier, Louis Vuitton, Tiffanys, Fendi and more. Check out our favorite holiday window displays from New York's fashion flagships, right here.
First there was the cold, hard version of a Christmas Tree from designer Gareth Pugh, and now, on the other side of the pond, Calvin Klein has conceived of another futuristic holiday perspective. The Madison Avenue Calvin Klein installation, pictured left, spans four floors and is suspended high above the street. Meant to represent a futuristic dwelling, each floor is furnished with miniature replicas of items from the apparel, accessory, and home lines. Conceived by Senior Vice President, Dale Rozmiarek, and realized by architect Joshua Prince-Ramus, this thousand-pound installation will remain erected until January 05 when life, you know, goes back to normal.
