British Style Genius: Productive Television
If you're a fashion enthusiast and stick to shows like Project Runway and Gossip Girl when you happen to sit in front of the television, we're betting you'll be happy about a show airing just across the pond. British Style Genius, which aired in the UK last night, is a documentary show with interviews by some of fashion's most celebrated English designers. Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen, and Paul Smith will all make appearances on the show as it attempts to examine Britain's most eponymous fashion looks. Episodes are broken down, for instance, by 'the high street' or 'the tailored look' and then the appropriate designers are called up to stage. So far we can't find the first episode online but we're guessing it's only a little while before it's available for Americans to watch. Check out the titles video, below.
