Shopbop Reveals New Fall Facelift

Online retailer Shopbop just launched a comprehensive redesign, just in time for fall. The new homepage leads to a main feature called "Shop Your Style" where visitors can choose from clothing that is "bohemian", "casual chic", "classic", "edgy" and "girly". In addition, most of the navigation has been updated, making it easy to shop by designer, price and clothing type.

Fashion In 50 Seconds 06/18/09 Liz Claiborne Pushes Menswear & More

Liz Claiborne is intent to revive their menswear line, Claiborne. First they hired John Bartlett to take helm of design and today they're opening a West Village pop-up store.

Sophia Kokosalaki has been hired for a lead design role at Diesel Black Gold. 

Contemporary stores, such as Intermix and Shopbop, are selling a lot of casual denim and tailored jersey pieces this summer. 

In celebration of New York's new and improved bike lanes, Topshop is renting out bicycles this weekend.

Scott Campbell, who gave Marc Jacobs his tattoos, will be the resident tattoo artist at a new concept shop opened by Carlos Quirarte of Earnest Sewn.

Jil Sander is not only designing an exclusive range for Uniqlo, she's also taking over as head of men's and women's wear. 

E-commerce giant, Shopbop, launched into a new video series using a buyer as the narrator of spring's hottest denim options.

We've just discovered (and fallen in love with) jewelry line Tuleste Market--vintage inspired and classic as a result, these pieces are the perfect balance between costumery and fine jewelry. The California borne designers, Satu and Celeste Greenberg, started their line based on their experience and intrigue with all things vintage. Smart business people as they are the pair decided to go about producing and curating these great finds for people who love vintage but don't have the eye or access to sift through the shops. We understated the frivolity of designer coin purses but there's something just Smythson-enough about these by Anya Hindmarch to convince us that they're good for gift giving. We picture keeping these leather pouches for years, which only makes us want to give them to friends and family that much more.

Caroline Hedaya & Donna Baxter, the duo that make up the Caroline Hedaya brand, are young designers whose signature aesthetic is well timed--there's nothing that pleases us more for Spring 09 than ruffles, fringe, or pleats. Adorning many, but not all, of the Spring 09 pieces were lovely ruffles in the front and back of garments. Hedaya sticks to beautiful, feminine basics otherwise.
