While absorbing Paris Fashion Week from a computer screen comes at little cost, wearing the clothing is another story. Given the state of our economy, our wise bloggers are either covering straight runway or finding opportunities to talk about "look for less" options. That said, we picked three to note.

Kingdom of Style is possibly the biggest penny saver of all having made her own organza skirt for a night out on the town. The results are pretty fantastic, but we're also putting a few bucks on her styling abilities.

Pretty Legit scoped out Old Navy's Fall deliveries, confirming our recent penchant for black sequins and more long blazers than is necessary for one person to own.

Platinum Blonde Life gave up the info on Banana Republic's recent shoe offerings. We've been meaning to pick up a trench coat from them and we might just have to add a shoe or two to the basket.

Looks like we're going on a mini-shopping spree, seeing as it's all in one place.

Pretty Legit recently purchased a pair of Doc Martens. There was something in her nonchalant pose, her bare legs, and her simple tee-shirt that reminded us of one of our old shoots Spin Me Right Round. The geeky girl gone chic vibe is very much alive in the Doc Marten aesthetic and in our shoot so we thought we would dig through some of the proofs that were never published just for fun. And guess what we found? We are guessing that great minds really do style alike. Sure its just a passing fancy that connects the two shots for us and our model isn't actually wearing proper Doc Martens but it sure makes us feel like bearing our legs and going out in stompers. Pretty Legit Shoutout: Special Night Panties

Pretty Legit has turned our attention to Forever 21's incredibly cheap and yet totally darling panties. At first we thought we were simply going to enjoy the look but find ourselves disgusted by the fabrics. But miraculously the collection includes many 100% cotton options. Thus while community members Fashion Indie, Catwalk Queen, and Chic and Untroubled focus in on Kate Moss' return to Agent Provocateur for their new bridal range we think we prefer the cheap chic option for a change. There are plenty of lacy white underthings if you have a rational aversion to debt when getting hitched.

Pretty Legit Shoutout: Homage To Marching Band Jackets

A structured vintage coat, whether it's a military jacket or other kind of wild costumery, always gets us going.
