The push toward fall is becoming increasingly hard to ignore as online retailers are beginning to sell out of coveted cold-weather merch. OAK Opens New Concept Store Called A.OK

New York retailer, OAK, launched a concept store today called A.OK. The store occupies its own section of the OAK e-commerce site as well as spaces within the Bond Street and Williamsburg flagships. The concept is all about stylish pieces at high street prices and, to keep things interesting, inventory will be limited and constantly changing. Current items include Quay round sunglasses for $48, African print pants for $52 and the ssion mustache face tees for $42. We can't wait to hear what Cintra Wilson has to say.

In case you haven't had your fill of studded and spiked footwear, Pour La Victoire has the market cornered this summer. Similar to Givenchy's Fall 2009 spiked sandal, the Pour La Victoire Tia spike heel is available at OAK and retails for just $348. If the combination of a 1" platform and 4 1/2" heel has you feeling nauseous, the brand is also selling studded (not spiked) sandals via OAK as well.

All Six Scents Land At OAK This Week

Just in time for spring, the Six Scents series is landing online and in stores--this week it launched on the OAK website complete with designer quotes and fragrance descriptions. Only 2,000 bottles of each scent have been produced (and numbered) with a percent of the proceeds going to Designers Against AIDS. The "fragrance initiative" was curated by Joseph Quartana of Seven New York whom, at the opening reception, referred to the project as a "cherry popper". Needless to say, this isn't your typical fragrance launch. Click on the title link above to learn more and pick up one of the Six Scents.

Chronicles Of Never Fall 2009

Just in time for the new season, Chronicles of Never launched their new site complete with an online store and photos of their Fall 2009 collection (above). This Sydney based brand is designed and owned by Gareth Moody, who founded the hipster-label Tsubi (now Ksubi). Chronicles of Never is known for a dark, futuristic look and is carried by the likes of OAK in New York.

Tomorrow OAK will launch into a 30% off sale, with the possibility for even greater discounts as detailed in their signature flyer. When OAK says "at least" 30% off--it has our hearts racing. Especially when we noticed they've fresh-out-of-the-box deliveries from Acne, Alex & Chloe, and Complex Geometries (a best seller). We've also heard rumors of holiday photo shoots which may or may not include appearances by staff so it's wise to keep an eye on the site for all of the eye candy soon to come our way.
