Fiscal responsibility might have been the impetus for Angela Missoni's decision to feature photographs of a real-life family dinner as the house's spring advertising campaign, but the outcome looks anything but low budget. We love seeing the whole Missoni-clad clan gathered around the dinner table and lounging on a zigzag print sofa. Photographed by Juergen Teller at the family home in Sumirago, Italy, the images feature three generations of Missonis and will break in February fashion titles this month.

For maximum style on the beach, you can't go wrong in a Zimmermann bikini and Jil Sander sunnies with Missoni's knit dress thrown over for lunch and an afternoon cocktail.
For Resort, Missoni kept things in step with the Fall 2009 collection by way of loose knits and casual layers. Global economic challenges might cause some to design with structure and severity, but for Missoni, a more relaxed response is preferred. In the Resort collection slouchy trousers, shorts and tunics make that message easy to decipher.
The multilayered hippie-meets-hip-hop look will be tricky to pull off anywhere south of the polar ice cap (photo shoots excepted), but taken in smaller doses, these are the kind of cozy, feel-good clothes that actually have a chance of selling in the new economy.
