Fall 2009 was a season rich with metallic options but if you're not keen on investing in Chris Benz's metallic blue blazer or Preen's watermelon pink trousers not to worry. Two Very Bizarre Fashion Items For Kids
Before or after you get deeply involved with the Carine Roitfeld videos you might want to check out two bizarre fashion items we happened upon today by chance--okay, by Twitter. Goyard, who created that controversial laptop case has also designed a custom trunk for Barbie's 50th Birthday. The trunk is now available at Colette for a whopping $3,752 approximately. Spring 2009 Trend Report: Summer Metals
Who says metallics have to be reserved for holiday parties--this Spring 09 designers embraced metallics and mixed them with bright colors or used them for elegant nighttime looks. Prada and Marc Jacobs, household names that they are, both used metallics as a main point of interest in their Spring collections. Otherwise, many designers used sequins and embroidery to display metallic shades. Check out our Spring 2009 trend report below with our favorite examples from the season.
