We first bumped into this awesome t-shirt line back when we popped into the Love Brigade look book shoot. Brains on Fire, the, er, brainchild of Matt Landon, is one of our favorite t-shirt companies for one simple reason: rather than being confined by the front and center, Landon's silk screens stretch beyond the allotted logo-zone. Yes, it's as simple as that. The result of this freedom make the t-shirts seem more like proper garments especially since the prints themselves are abstract, with slight variances in color and pattern (this 'aint no Urban Outfitters stockpile). Tuck one of these suckers into a slick pair of trousers and top it off with a bowler hat or tailored jacket and you're practically wearing a blouse, except you're a million times more chilled out and comfortable. In about one week, the rest of the world will have the new A/W 08 Love Brigade collection at their fingertips. We've scored a special sneak peek of the look book, having tagged along for the shoot this weekend. There's nothing better than bunch of Brooklyn kids pretending they're not surrounded by concrete and standing on aluminum rooftops. We think this look book is going to be pretty amazing.

This weekend, we caught up with Love Brigade for their A/W 08 look book shoot. In an apartment just blocks away from the Love Brigade Co Op, and resided in by the designer of Brooklyn Royalty, Bob Bland (also a menswear designer for Triple Five Soul), we witnessed the chaos of a photo shoot with four designers, ten models, a photographer, journalists (us!), friends, and one totally crazy neighbor.
