Cult of Couture posted a shoutout to the Alexander McQueen Fall 2008 show complete with raw footage from the runway. We love looking back on a season, especially when we can marvel in the readiness of the clothing. After all, Fall 08 is not over until we clink our glasses and say 'Happy New Year'.

Fashionologie has the teaser to Karl Lagerfeld's silent film meant to accompany his upcoming Chanel Paris-Moscow collection, which will debut this December 5th.

Gift guides are in full swing and Network Partners are making no exceptions. Couture in the City posted a gift guide including ten items under ten dollars. We were pretty sure that you could only get bottled water and coffee for those prices...until now.

Kingdom of Style posted an outfit of the day we just can't not mention. When luxe DIY, orange hosiery, and black lace come together in one outfit, something special is at work.

You could call it a marketing ploy, or another act of meaningless journalism, but we're not going to turn down an excuse to obsessively discuss e-commerce all day long. Whether today will be the Black Friday of e-commerce or not, the fact is that online shopping is now a powerful force in the fashion industry. For seventy five dollars this plastic costume watch by Betsey Johnson seems a great gift for a younger sister or fashionable friend. What's more, this watch is a web-exclusive on the Urban Outfitters online shop (which means everyone hasn't seen it stacked on some messy table near the checkout) and comes complete with its own jewelry box packaging. Betsey Johnson continues to extend her upbeat attitude to all facets of fashion and we have to hand it to her--more often than not we fancy her offerings before we know they are hers. We received a subscription email the other day, cluing us in to the Sephora Scent Sampler as a holiday gift option and boy, did it open a fury of bookmarking. The Sephora gift section is both comprehensive and affordable--from lip gloss to perfume to toiletries, almost each gift set is marked down, making the options not only irresistible for gift giving, but for exercising some brand loyalty as well. That said, we think Holiday shopping online only makes sense, we suggest making a stylebook or bookmark folder as you find suitable gifts for your friends and family and then, once you've made your list (and budget) and checked it twice, sit down with a glass of wine, put on the Charlie Brown Christmas DVD, and start ordering.
