Giorgio Armani announced today that Megan Fox will succeed Victoria Beckham as the new face of Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans. Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott photographed Fox over the weekend in Los Angeles for both campaigns.
As previously reported, Cristiano Ronaldo, the Real Madrid soccer star, will be replacing David Beckham in the men's Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans campaigns. Unlike the Beckhams, Ronaldo and Fox will not appear in campaigns together. Both billboards and print ads will run worldwide in January. [WWD]

Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford was in Milan today to see the Spring 2010 presentation from Emporio Armani, which mixed things up a little with a few splashes of orange amid the well-tailored menswear.
Yesterday wasn't just a big day for Katie Holmes, in fact, another celebrity Spring 09 ad campaign dropped--namely, Victoria Beckham for Emporio Armani Underwear. In the press release for the campaign, Giorgio Armani said, "I chose Victoria Beckham to launch our new global Emporio Armani Women's Underwear campaign because she is a stylish and intriguing woman. Great underwear is alluring and provocative, and so I wanted to work with someone who would make a real impression." The full ad campaign will be featured in magazines next month.
The first Armani concept store will open this February 18th in New York--Armani/Fifth Avenue will carry collections from all ready to wear and contemporary arms of the Armani brand. Giorgio Armani, Emporio Armani, Armani Jeans, EA7, Armani Casa, Giorgio Armani Beauty, and some exclusives from the ready to wear labels will all be housed in the new location. Prada's new art project with favored architect Remm Koohlhas? Its called Transformer, which will be unveiled in Seoul, South Korea, next year. Transformer is a tetrahedron structure in lieu of a theater that will accommodate cultural, artistic and fashion events Prada is organizing.
