Pre-Order The Chloe Sevigny For Opening Ceremony Buckle Boots

Chloe Sevigny's Opening Ceremony buckle boots are available for pre-order from now until this Wednesday. The boots, which come in black leather and suede, retail for $625. Similar in style to Acne's once-eponymous Niara sandal and the Spring 09 must-have buckle sandal from Surface to Air, we're guessing the shoe will fare well next season. Order them now and you'll be able to wear them in late August/early September. Back to school outfit anyone? Pair these boots a la Sevigny by wearing them with her fair isle knits and loose androgynous blouses. The Fall 2009 Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony range will begin delivering in August.

Fashion In 50 Seconds 02/14/09 Chloe Sevigny For OC Drops & More

Chloe Sevigny's women's and men's range for Opening Ceremony has dropped and the aesthetic is "gay lumberjack" with a "slight homage" to Sevigny's favorite designers.

The rumor of Gareth Pugh taking over at Dior Homme was reportedly confirmed backstage at the Loiuse Goldin show yesterday. 

Hilldun Corporation and Rosenthal & Rosenthal Inc.--two leading factoring firms--have suspended Barneys accounts for at least a week.

The art and furniture collection of Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Berge went up for auction yesterday, and is slated to fetch $392 million over the next three days.

In The Showroom: Dagmar Spring 2009

We're big time proponents of lady-like dressing because, as much as we like the tough-girl look that's sweeping the fashion scene, deep-down we don't love leaving the house feeling like we're dressed up as a man/vampire. After reading about Chloe Sevigny's men's line in girl sizes on Fashionologie, and checking out the Spring 09 Lover collection on Refinery 29, we feel like the more feminine side of our current fashion climate is peaking out from the behind the curtain...there couldn't be a better time to write about Dagmar Spring 2009. Ladylike, fashion forward, casual, and cool this collection has us at hello in the W29 showroom. This Spring 09 season featured knits and nudes fit for a ballerina and some more structured pieces to keep things tidy. We don't need garlands in our hair and slips under our skirts but we don't always want to dress like it's the apocalypse--after all, we have a new president now.
