Mexican Fashion Goes E-Commerce
Having once fallen in love with Mexico City by way of its young, thriving design scene we're always on the lookout for boutiques that stock these hard to find brands. Today someone clued us into FashionMX which stocks a few of our favorites, namely, Mancandy, T.E.M.O.R.E.S., Cherry Project, Etre, and Carlos Ortega. Unfortunately, TEAMO isn't on there but judging by the number of magazine editorials we've spotted them in, it shouldn't be long before that changes. Word is that Mexico Fashion Week is in jeopardy this season, but we'll keep you posted with the newest collections from these designers either way.
For the Spring 09 Cherry Project collection jersey and neon were wholeheartedly embraced and no matter how tired of it we might be, it's tempting to indulge in the body skimming mix-and-match pieces that came down the runway. Some of the color combinations were fantastic, like,
