If we posted every sample sale flyer and retail happening in New York we'd be up to our ears in work and our non-New York readers would be rather upset, but, when it stands as an excuse to talk about a designer we love then we let it slide. Anya Hindmarch's art deco-inspired bags have been on our mind since the moment we first saw them. Her handbags have high marks in the glamour department but have yet to become shallow status bags--which should probably explain why Hindmarch's diffusion line sold out on Target.com in just two minutes. So, New York ladies, visit the sample sale happening next week and non-New York ladies never fear, Fall styles are starting to be marked down online and on Hindmarch's website. It might be a grey Monday but our Network partners are as prompt as ever--bringing us around-the-clock postings on all things fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and more. Eye 4 Style (now OnSugar!) scouted out some online shopping deals for those of us who medicate Monday with e-commerce indulgences. Girl Woman Beauty Brains (also now OnSugar!) found two sale bangles from J. Crew that remind us that the designer options are not the only ones to covet. Network Partner, Senora Cartera posted a thoughtful comparison between the handbags of Tory Burch and Anya Hindmarch. Finally, Shiny Squirrel, who always finds great independent designers, posted some look book images from Garland Coo.

Holiday marketing ploys are something we usually view with suspicion but Anya Hindmarch has found a charming way to celebrate Halloween. Customers will be invited to pick a sweet (toffee candy) from Anya Hindwitch’s Trick or Treat bag (no purchase necessary).

Those who pull out a Treat may win an Anya Hindmarch bag, clutch, purse or key ring from the Autumn/Winter 2008 collection or be asked to perform funny forfeits such as Balance a bag on your head or walking from one end of the shop to the other cackling like a witch as a trick. And of course there will be plenty of treats on hand such as sinister stickers and spooky sweets like jelly brains, skullcrushers and lucky bones to keep children of all ages happy.

This "Maggie" clutch is one potential treat!

Roberto Cavalli accepts bids from interested enterprises for a share in his fashion label. Merill Lynch, The Carlyle Group, and Blackstone Group Holdings are among the crop of bidders. Cavalli is seeking the best deal possible. It is reported that he has turned down offers in the past.

Alexander McQueen launches a new store in L.A. that displays a towering sculpture of a nude male. Hung directly above the rooftop of the space, the stainless steel work of art entitled “Angel Of The Americas” is created by Robert Bryce Muir.

At her boutique in Notting Hill, Alice Temperley will be showing her new bridal collection this week. Her gowns carry a price tag of approximately 3,500-20,000 USD. The event commences tomorrow from 12 PM to 4 PM.

Anya Hindmarch establishes a store front in Shanghai. With this venture, the designer acknowledges the economic explosion currently taking place in China. Hindmarch will also launch new spaces in Dubai, Russia, and Kuwait. The London label has 37 shops to date, with plans for an additional 18 stores to be opened by February of 2008.

Pringle Of Scotland will launch a second store in Hong Kong this Spring resulting from the prosperous outcome of the first. The luxury brand aims to open new stores within the area towards the end of the year.
