Just in time for spring, the Six Scents series is landing online and in stores--this week it launched on the OAK website complete with designer quotes and fragrance descriptions. Only 2,000 bottles of each scent have been produced (and numbered) with a percent of the proceeds going to Designers Against AIDS. The "fragrance initiative" was curated by Joseph Quartana of Seven New York whom, at the opening reception, referred to the project as a "cherry popper". Recently, we learned about fragrance line Histoires de Parfums which French chef and restaurant owner Gérald Ghislain launched some years back. This beautifully packaged, collection of fragrances amazed us with its concept: to build perfumes inspired by figures in history, like Jules Verne and Mata Hari.
