Some you could call swimwear and some, lingerie, but there's no denying the abundance of pant-less models at the Spring 09 shows. This phenomenon might have manifested from similar examples in the Fall 08 shows or it could be an easy way to show off Spring's 'front row' shoes. The pant-less models could be making a statement about the recession (literal or metaphoric) or the designer's could have left them half-dressed so that heavy Fall-like tops didn't seem so inappropriate for Spring. Whatever the reason we're not quite sure this look will make it off the catwalk. Then again, crazier things have happened...
