Birds Eye View Film Fesitval, a London-based festival that promotes female filmmakers, will be showing a series of short fashion films on a special night during the festival. Fashion Loves Film will feature creative shorts on Yves Saint Laurent (still from film to left), Basso & Brooke and Givenchy directed by some of fashion's heavy hitters, so if you're in London and The September Issue, Stylista, and Running With Heels has you feeling a bit like the fashion industry has officially sold out, this might be worth a stop. Each film is less than fifteen minutes long and promises abstract content. Case in point, a description for the Givenchy film reads "the subject is passive and reality is suspended". So there you go.
