Barack Obama has already selected a Hart Schaffner Marx suit for inauguration night, but that didn't stop WWD from putting menswear designers to the test. Not only do we find these sketches fascinating (some headless, some digitally rendered, some downright creepy) we also think WWD brings up a good point: menswear has a new icon to dress and an opportunity for his presence to breathe some life back into the genre. Having appeared on the cover of every popular men's fashion magazine in recent months, there's no doubt Obama is an influence to menswear.
