Michael Kors presented a sleek Fall 2009 collection yesterday that was just the right balance of sensibility and fun. In our video, courtesy of Vidicom, Kors talks about why women won't stop shopping during times of economic uncertainty and why just the right amount of luxury--an acid green fox fur jacket perhaps?--is not only appropriate, but justified. After the video, check out our runway gallery from the show.

Love Michael and love his work. BUT those hats - you know the ones like the axe murderer in the movie Fargo wore - nearly ruined the show for me. The colors are gorgeous, but is anyone actually going to walk down the street wearing one of the things?
I'm already bored with the one-bare-shoulder look, so I hope it doesn't stay around long. Otherwise, Michael is always fabulous, and has a great sense of humor.
