Brian Reyes Cardigan DressThis Spring and Fall 08, the drop waist trend is popping up in many forms. From designer Brian Reyes, it appears as a knit (viscose) cardigan dress that's so slinky and light, that suddenly an eight degree evening seems possible. With a slightly unpredictable one button closure this dress is best layered over a vintage one piece or otherwise light and skimpy base garment. Reyes, known for using interesting fabrics, worked under Oscar de la Renta before launching his own, highly anticipated collection in 2006. The Spring 08 fashion show was packed with flowy, muted Summertime garments and, to give you an idea of the mood Reyes was in, was set to Dionne Warwick's 'Walk On By'.
