The immanent return of summer begs several important questions. Are wedges out? How do I feel about cropped pants? And most critically what is my stance towards sunbathing? Few would argue that sunbathing has a bad rap. But looking at this silver hat community member Hope Robertson has discovered is making us rethink traditional assumptions about covering up with her discover of a metallic silver sun hat. Why? Well sure if you wear the thing it will protect your face from sun damage but what if you take it off, brim up, and leave it on your stomach and suddenly it has an entirely new use as a chic metallic sun reflector. Its perfect for the bratty teenage heiress that wants Mummy to think she has covered up before heading deck side on the yacht. But as soon as she is alone she can simply turn over her hat and get that perfect taupe tan on her unlined face. Let's just see how long it stays that way.
