C. Neeon Fall 08 Collection

Berlin based label, C Neeon, showed their Fall 08 collection during Paris Fashion Week. The brand, borne in 2004, has participated in numerous collaborations, including those with Nylon, Dazed and Confused, Seven, and Lumas. For this Fall 08, the presentation featured a set with colorful Vorwerk carpets, the carpets, nicely enough, we also designed by C. Neeon. This Fall 08 the collection was inspired by the milder side of winter, the 'neon light of the morning subway ride' and so featured art-inspired prints in neons and otherwise bold colors. It was a utilitarian aesthetic which paid close attention to drapery and knitwear and made for a thoroughly urban collection, quite appealing to a modern city dweller.
